Assistant Professor

Dr. Maristella Evangelista’s surgical expertise includes complex reconstruction, microvascular and cancer reconstructive surgery. She also has a special focus in aesthetic surgery, including procedures to enhance the appearance of the face, breast and body, as well as nonsurgical treatments for facial rejuvenation.

Research Interests

Dr. Evangelista conducts research on post-mastectomy radiation effects, wound care, and innovations in breast cancer diagnosis and reconstruction. She has been involved with mobile application development for surgical education and has an interest in quality improvement and clinical outcomes.
